We have just heard that there has been an earthquake by the East coast of Japan. I think it has affected the area swamped by the tsunami.

Then there are the poor Philippines which seem to be flooded on a monthly basis.

My thoughts are with the folks on these areas, and our iPF members who don't post now.

It's the "Miyagi" prefecture. NHK News reports "metre high" tsunami wave has come ashore.

Tokyo Electric clarifies early reports about Fukushima nuke plant evacuation. Workers moved to "safe positions" within the plant.
