I saved a lot of my girls childhood things and you're right they do take up a lot of room. Oodles didn't last the distance though. ;)

Here's one that lives on my desk, a Christmas angel my eldest did in grade 2.....she's 17 years old, the Angel that is.
You'll notice she's lost all of one arm and the hand of the other. :)

It's very nice. The loss of the arm doesn't matter. :-) The memories connected to it are invaluable.

I see it now! So sweet! :)
 
My mother saved a lot of her things from when she was a little girl. The oldest item I have of her's is a small Santa Claus Christmas tree ornament she got when she was about 2. That would have been about 1930.

They must have contained precious memories for her. I hope she shared them with you.
