Enjoying the whales and sail boats going past though.

Thanks for the photos! Some day I will surf that beach.
We had rain all afternoon, with clearing skies in the evening. I was out walking just now and saw something quite unusual, a red sky in the east, at sunset.
<img src="http://www.ipadforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=43160"/> The current temperature is 12°C and partly cloudy.
I've been up since 4 this morning. We had a very large thunder and lightning storm pass through at the front of overcast weather. The lightning was striking right next to the house. The thunder clap was almost immediately following. Of course the dogs were terrified and wouldn't let me go back to sleep. Later, there were news reports for fires started by lightning strikes. :-(

Yes Leelai, they were horrified. I stayed up with them so they could have a companion. There were many fires started by the lightning strikes. None were close by. They are under control by now. When something like that comes through the emergency services gear up right away.Oh my Fid......your dogs must have been terrified by it all! My dog just can't keep still when we have them here.
Sounds like you were very lucky your house didn't get hit also.
Mother Nature has certainly been flexing her might of late.....I hope there was minimal damage left by it all!
We got the beans all planted. Six rows four hundred feet long. There was enough time left over so we tilled four one-hundred feet rows and planted corn. That's a storm! Gave you finished planting your beans?

It is a week late on the corn. It won't be "knee high by the fourth or July."
