The twigs are stronger than they seem.

Yesterday, looking out my clinic window I saw about a dozen Red Robins perched on a tree. It's very odd to see these Robins, since they usually migrate South for the winter.

That's crazy - the wild turkeys. Normal or are they coming to you for food because of cold, snowy winter?

Wow--too cool! Been seeing a lot of deer, but not turkey. Do they have a feeder going for them to flock like that there?

They say they're feeding the birds but that does include the turkeys - and enough left over for the deer!
The snow piles are everywhere around here this year. It is interesting but I'm ready for them to disappear. Some melting may start next week when temperatures finally get above freezing but with a frost depth near 7 feet who knows how messy it will get.
