Oh my gosh, fluffyevilfox! We had several ice storms last 2 years and it looked like that. The roads were awful and many were closed down. Hope we don't have that this year. I don't mind snow, but driving on ice is terrible! I need to pull up some of my ice storm pics, but am afraid I might jinx myself for this up coming winter!

Yep snow is fine .....but when ice it hits it's just a mess especially shovelling your driveway .. And getting the ice of you're car

Sometimes on days that are soo cold and icy, it will take about 15 minutes for the car to heat up and defrost. Not looking forward to this.

Oh my gosh, Sci. Please tell me that is a pic from last year and that it really didn't happen??

I can't, the picture was taken last Wednesday, the day I posted it, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Nooo! That is a bummer. Seems so early to see snow...is that early for you there, Sci?

We've gotten snow as early as September and as late as July. In the winter of 2005/2006, we didn't have snow until after New Year's Day.

Oh, that's just craziness to see snow in July! However, I do remember snow flakes in June when I was still in College. It was bizarre.

Trees, trees, trees, and more trees.
Once in a while we get deer. One time my mom saw a skunk and beaver, and my aunt has this muskrat that comes into her backyard sometimes.

Woke up this morning and this little fella was inside my house....don't know how he got in.

He seems to have a bung foot, may be a birth defect, not sure as yet....am contacting RSPCA to find out the best way forward

He's a Kingfisher....I think!

Oh, Leelai....that bird is just brilliant looking. We have kingfisher around us, but I don't think they look quite like that one! Poor thing that he has a bum foot. I hope the organization can help that little guy!! :(

He is so, so cute......well have just let him go after first ascertaining if he could fly......yep and he did it well.

We then heard many bird calls, so hopefully his parents are around.
