What I see in my backyard...

He is so, so cute......well have just let him go after first ascertaining if he could fly......yep and he did it well.

We then heard many bird calls, so hopefully his parents are around.

Wow, how amazing is that......good to hear that he is off and flying.

It was amazing Gab.....I was worried he was hurt.....

luckily we have a large cage and let him rest up a bit.....

RSPCA said if he can fly, it is best to just let him go.

I hope he stays in the area though.

I'll be expecting more pics when he returns!

As for his dodgy foot, there are gazillions of pigeons in London and many of them have injured feet but it doesn't seem to affect them at all.

Yes, that's what the RSPCA said about his foot and that it really doesn't matter.....when I first found him, he wasn't even on his feet, more like just sitting on his butt.
1 foot was curled under. Poor little thing!

But boy could he fly!!

Oh that was a happy ending than for that little guy!! Glad he came to visit though so you could take a pic of him to share with us!!

These animals in our backyard are just wondrous things and really helps to form your day! These critters probably don't realize how they effect people in a positive way!!

It's Guy Fawkes (bonfire) night on the 5th November so there are fireworks displays everywhere over the weekend and on the 5th, I just happened to hear a massive explosion and popped outside to take a look!

They were much better than they look in the pictures, I've probably got three nights of fireworks going off around here.......!

One year on Victoria Day - it was overcast, but the ceiling appeared high enough to proceed with the fire works.

So off they went but the rocket went into the clouds. I remember some boos then the booms
And then the oooowww - aahhhhh.

When the pyrotechnics detonated they were barely into the clouds and the glow and flash created was mesmerizing. It was quite a night.

They had just about everything.....it went on for quite some time!
