What I see in my backyard...

Here is the panoramic view from the other day.

The image sharpness was lost in the process of stitching the views together :(

Great view, Richard. It's the app that compresses the image and loses the sharpness. It happens with every photo I post here.

Makes kitchen chores easier when there are birds to watch, doesn't it.

I agree with that , on a slightly different reference !
My kitchen faces out onto a small residential area , so wildlife is limited , my lounge faces a southerly direction with a hedge blocking further viewing beyond.

As it stands , all I see a lot of is ice! It's Fffreeeezing cold this morning :-(

Love all the new pics of everyone's "backyard" here. These pics are all wonderful to see.

Thanks for sharing! I am hoping a big snowstorm will come my way to take some pics my "backyard" or areas close by soon!

I was driving home from work as it started snowing but the temperature is due to rise tonight so no chance of a snow filled scene here!

It's the same here, sunny and temps rising to 40 degrees. No chance of snow today!

Just had 2 deer in our backyard, bedded down. They are so cute looking. Hubbie threw an apple core out back and the young one went to it fast!

The mountains on three sides have icing on top for the first time this year :)

Is that a sign for pending future weather if that's the case?

This cheeky fella came to join me for brekki while I was away recently.

I think he wanted my brekki!

Awww...he's so cute! I'd love a bird like that to land comfortably and pose nicely like that for a photo OP! :)

We had a mother and one of her young ones with her in our backyard while I had lunch. They stayed with us for 6 hours!

Wonderful view! Thanks for sharing it with us. The equivalent view in my backyard would be a squirrel staring at me, with a peanut in its mouth.

That would have been very nice! ;)

That looks like a lost pet. Are those common where you live?

No, not a pet, although many people do keep these Cockatoos. They are native here and can be found in large numbers in certain areas. My neighbour feeds them every summer and we will have them lining up on light poles each afternoon waiting for her to appear. They can be very noisy!
