Looks like part of a statue of someone or some animal...don't think it's Nelson or the lion in the equestrian jumping but there are other statues of famous people in the Olympic areas. Suspect one of those?

Yes, it is a statue of someone famous. And yes it is near an Olympic venue. I took photos of it for the challenge when in the area recently :) more of the photo.

No, it isn't Oliver Cromwell. He was a seafarer of sorts. The garment over his left shoulder had it's moment of fame. Another picture
