Strange, wouldn't have realised in a month of Sundays that this was what it turned out to be! Thought perhaps a church or major city building, probably in London, knowing you! I will look at the bridge structure now with more interest, thank you:-)

It's interesting putting a little twist on things Stranding ;)

I have nothing ready to post yet. I have photos in the camera waiting to be tweaked etc.

Looks like a hose reel. Are the electronic components part of a timer mechanism used to turn the water on and off at specified times?

Vacuum cleaner?
 
Yes. A Panasonic upright with a power bar.
Image one ( the plastic door flap ) open for a hose attachment to clean hard to get to spits and car interiors.

Looks like you've made you own modification to a patio table umbrella, by braising permanent legs to the base rather that propping it with a disc full of sand or water.
