What's new

What is it?

Here's another clue.

This item is a sought after commodity. $30 million dollars of it was recently stolen in Quebec.
Canada exports it to the world.

Goodness, what strange formations. If it's naturally occurring weathering, which is what it looks like, haven't ever encountered this type before. Might be a type of limestone?

Found up in the northern trucklands, in them thar Yukon places, I imagine.

(Edit: Whoops, too late by far! Missed the last few posts, fell asleep mid-sentence. Just ignore me.)

It's clay. This site, in southern Alberta, is famous for its dinosaurs. I've been there many times, but not with a vehicle small enough to have a good look around.

It was once the site of quite intensive coal mining but the mines are all gone now.

Rack time for me as 02:45 creeps closer. The challenge is open to all corners of the planet.

Good night.

All right. I'll set another one then.

The clue is right here in the threads of iPF. A member from Bromley has relatives who would find this sight very familiar.

I took this photograph a few minutes ago.

Is it the "Beaver Creek" town mascot on the Yukon / Alaska border?

No. One of the clues is that I took the photograph. That pins it down considering the distance it would have to be from Edmonton where I started driving.

The U.S. flag threw me. Also - I assumed you were using your FTL drive on this trip. However - since you're running at sub-light speed, seems you were in Beaverlodge Alberta last night - just west of Grand Prairie Alberta - not far from the British Columbia frontier.

Correct. And Richard has relatives there, as he stated a couple of weeks ago on iPF. Back to you, Admiral.
