What's new

What is it?

I can't monitor the challenge anymore. It's a steel chain, made of pieces stamped out of sheet metal.

Been off for a bit - thanks for the Remington! I was in Fort Worth for a bit and they have the Amon Carter museum there. Has quite a few pieces of his. If anyone gets the chance to visit the city they also have a world class museum of modern art in a stunning building and they have the Kimble too (absolutely amazing). The three are right next to each other, well a small walk park from the carter to the Kimble just a couple of trees and grass and they were free when I was there.

Blow, I had that sussed out. Our garden hanging baskets are suspended from chains like Scifan's example.

Here is my challenge. What is this a part of? Where is it to be found?

To help, try to work out the material this item is made up from. I hope this will put you on the right line of thinking ;)

Part of a flannel blanket, found on a bed?

No, it isn't used in the home. I did provide a written clue in the 2nd post of my challenge.

I hope the UK followers have a go at this challenge.

Is your "line" reference the clue? If so does it involve the underground?

Good morning Admiral. Yes, you are correct. It does involve the London Underground. Now, what is it a part of?

Upholstery on the seats in the Underground trains?

Correct Scifan. You have beaten me to my seat. So I'm left standing as a strap hanger! ;)

The upholstery has stylised images of the London Eye and the outline of the Big Ben tower.

The challenge is now yours. However, Sci cannot monitor a challenge, so like a true gent he has offered his seat to you AA, and it's over to the runner up and a close second to post the next challenge, Admiral :)

I can't believe how spiffy the Tube seats are now. Last time I sat on one was 40 years ago. They were dark red, shiny vinyl and the train itself was a dreary looking thing in general. Nice to see the change.
