I read lots of tech blogs (geek, geeks, geeks) and this kind of thing get passed fast. Here is about the only place where I had a chance at being first. :)

And it was still close. I see it's shown up in the Anything goes thread too.

Paul Hindemith: Symphonic Metamorphosis on Themes by Carl Maria von Weber, on fabulous Telarc LP. This performance gives me more goosebumps than anything but Beethoven's Ninth. It's "filler" on side 4 of the Carmina Burana set, and it was never released on CD.

Hi Kevin, all is well here. Thank you for asking. How about you?

I wanted to link the video with the image, you know right into the post, but only haven't done it once, I forgot how to do it..:(

I'll edit it for you. I think I can see the one you want.

It's done. You have to use the link from the desktop site, rather than the mobile one. The video works now.

If you are listening to a favourite song or something unusual and there's an accompanying video, feel free to post if it's on YouTube. Live versions or video taped recording sessions often add significantly to the artist's interpretation of the music.

Thanks

Who would have thought Abba would become a "classic" group? It was slightly embarrassing in the '70s to admit to liking them. Me? I loved them, always did and still do. I'll have to dig some out.

Presently listening to Annie Lennox - A Whiter Shade of Pale
