Damn! I forgot to actually complete the ice rink and therefore the Santa quest before the deadline, now I will never have that wonderful Ice Hotel on my iPhone game. I'm devastated, how can I possibly live without it. Guess I'll just have to wait for GI to recycle it.

You would expect GI to try and keep their players coming back but looking at this forum lately it looks like they're on a suicide mission with this game. I haven't updated yet, it just doesn't seem worth it.

I have managed to get myself addicted to Big Business. Unfortunately it is a GI game but so far it has been really great. I haven't had to spend real money so far. I'm keeping up with Megapolis but it just doesn't grab me.

It's funny how so many of us keep playing AC, probably hoping things will change for the better.

yes. Well, the habit, the forum helps also, and the lanches. But I have completely abandonned my blocked iphone game. not being able to send gifts and share launces makes it completely useless.

I know what you mean about about Megapolis, it's very easy to try and run in too many different directions, I try to avoid the timed quests now, I think the only way to achieve them must be to spend real money. The biggest difference, is that the developers of Megapolis reward you every day for playing their game, whereas all GI ever do is kick you in the teeth. AC is definitely on the back burner now, don't think I would still be playing at all were it not for this forum.

AC is going waaay downhill. I hadn't updated yet either. I thought to myself I'd try it on my pdxsk3 iPhone game. My population was 422/1000. After updating...population is 1246/1000! 824 new residents...and unable to build anything .

Yep, volunteer guinea pig updater on Pad, and I end up 1884/1400. On Phone, I would be right with you...so I haven't updated there yet. This level 8 town hall better deliver about 400 population, or I quit. As Mr. Wonderful says on Shark Tank, "You're dead to me." Meaning GI - not you guys.
