Big Business - game discussion

And little incentive to finish the quest at that... 4600 happiness, and I need another 400,000 population to place my next factory on the map... So just need to build 85 buildings like this, where in the past 4600 happiness would have been a huge incentive because it would have significantly gotten me closer to my next factory placement. Absolutely, bloody pointless in my opinion.

Every little bit helps, in my opinion. I still have a long way to go until my next happiness level just like everyone else, and I may never get there, but I'm at least going to enjoy making an effort. These types of timed challenges are exactly why I like this game.

Fully agree. My latest response from Yana is getting me no where, she's turning a little nutty in my opinion: "That is a new challenge in our city!
The game is named BIG business not without purpose! That is high time to find out what do you cost! Are you much of a best businessmen? Are you skill enough to improve the city affairs, or your destiny is to cry, to plead to mumble how game is unfair?! =)
Go ahead! Shine brightly on the roof of heaven! Proof everybody who is a boss out here."

Name: Rikmondo (no more spending) City name: Rikville Level. 55. Needs: Drills, please.

They are in another world indeed. They are in Russia, 'nough said.

In unrelated news, my "challenge" is 23 dry fruit, 13 sour cream and 7 candies, lol. The moment I read the blog about the upcoming event, I placed all potentially relevant plants in storage. Looks like the factories in storage still don't count.
Dry fruit and sour cream were done yesterday, took about 4-5 hours. Will start on candies today, need to make sugar first.

Sitting the current challenge out - my numbers are 63 / 13 / 27. Kind of doable - I have five farms, so I could probably comfortably grow 2 lots of cocoa beans each day, but juggling that with fruit and berries and sugar cane has put me off; there's just too much else needs doing with a day :). On the brighter side though, I get to give out turbines as gifts today, so hopefully this will come as a nice surprise to some of you!

I have to do 20 candies. Should be no problem with 2 convection plants.

Does anyone know what the multiplier is for the amount of happiness required to place another production building? I just finally brought a building out of storage and am trying to determine how much happiness I need for the next. With the multiplier I can work it backwards from the amount necessary to build another.

 Very nice. Thanks a lot for the turbine. Now i still need three of them! Although it still takes some time to reach the powerplant area but it´s nice to have some needed things already in stock.

Thanks for the turbine! How many do I need to collect? I have a blueprint for a nanogenerator. Has anyone done this?

I love it! You got an original response from her! We all get the "Game of Luck" response and are all, at least initially, mollified and then amazed to get the same response as others (and as we got before!) Perhaps you are not much of "a best businessmen" and "are not skill enough to improve the city affairs...." If so, I guess you'll just fulfill your destiny (you big crybaby!) Hahahaha!

Way to go Rik! I will be sending you something you need soon at your port to applaud your efforts in trying to talk to GI... I am still laughing. Good stuff!

Has anyone built the nanogenerator yet? I have blueprint for one. Does it require the quarry?

Thanks for the quick response helping fill my containers....next ship in needs thickener, sugar and condensed milk...I will need thickeners for sure...I will open up containers before I go to sleep tonight.

Oops ... Thought I was on the cargo page. Sorry

GAB IV thanks for the drill! That is number 30! Now if I can get my quarry working or maybe a gift of 10 marbles from the GI gods I can finish my Eiffel Tower.

Lol...
Has anyone looked at the new bonuses you get for buying stuff?
One of them is called Corporate Party, and it says "...Throw a party and your production time will double for 2 hours!"
Sweet, lets make things take longer to make....
