Baking organic, whole wheat bread waiting for it to rise for the last time before going into the oven.

Those loaves look great, Iriana - very artistic.

You reminded me of a Hairy Bikers programme last night. The lads produced economic variations of posh nosh, including pork and black pudding Wellington. The pastry looked glorious.

BTW, it looks like both of the bikers have lost weight.

Just had a small piece of pizza from last night's dinner accompanied with hot tea. Finished it off with a slice of banana nut bread for dessert.

Sounds delish, Richard! I haven't made a Shepherd's pie in a while. I do remember making it with ground sirloin, potatoes, Onions and peas. Topped with mash potatoes.

Is that similar to how you make yours?

Fish and chips with the Easter biscuits sound terrific!!

Yes, that's pretty well identical. For the gravy, my wife used tomato and garlic sauce and mascarpone sauce. The lot was topped with grated cheddar cheese. It all work very well.

That's interesting with the sauces. I haven't served it with a sauce, but can see how delicious it would be to compliment it-especially with the mash potatoes on top!!

Initially, the dish was to have been a pasta one, but my wife changed her mind mad way through. The result was really tasty, more by accident than intention

I like the way you put it - "mad way" through. That's happened to me. Fury over my meal preparation heading south, somehow rescued the whole business.
