I don't think this forum is under threat from the neighborhoods as they are really lame. But HD does listen and improve things so we'll have to wait and see. Getting a pop up at every farm you visit asking if you want to invite them to be part of your neighborhood (which is already full anyway) is very annoying GC: jenniferwren17 HayDay level 33

I haven't ever gotten a pop up invite, and I've been to lots of farms. I feel so left out

Ugh, as much as I love this forum, I really hate the tech side of it. Figuring since I had to use the iPF website to change my signature and delete PMs I'd have do the same these posting options. Yea, not so much. So, now, if I figured this is right, I should have two signatures showing, one for post, the other reply AND enlarged font on signature. Sorry, should have thought to ask if you were using the app or the website. Just assumed you were using the app, because that's what I use!

No it is not. Maybe because you set your signature on your PC and now you are using the iPF app. You can add a signature in settings.

Neighbourhoods Is anyone using these yet? My house just finished and I created a neighbourhood. I thought we would be able to chat with others, but looks like they have to be a part if the same neighbourhood to do so. And if you create your own neighbourhood, you can't join any others And unless you know what a friend named their neighbourhood in order to search and join, you have to be invited by them to join I did try inviting a few of you who help often, just to see how it works. Anyone have any thoughts in the neighbourhoods? Are they what you thought they'd be? Do you like this new feature? Or do you find it limiting? GC ID: tanaco73 HayDay level 52

I sent an invite to F.A.R.M. started my Mickymaid. If that invite is not accepted, I will join yours, if it is an anyone can join neighborhood.

That sucks. So if everyone starts their own neighborhood then there'll be a bunch of one person neighborhoods cuz you can't join another? Think they need to rethink that one. Now wishing I would have waited on building mine

I went to Supercells forum, and you can only be in one neighborhood, so if you started one and I started one by building the house then we are now both in our own neighborhood and cannot join each other's neighborhood cuz we are already in our own. Crazy. They say you can leave a hood to join another but found anything yet if you can leave your own hood. The other potential issue I see is in regards to this forum. If active iPF members all join 'hoods and focus on that with trades and such, this forum could proportionally lose it's active members. We'll have to wait n see what happens.

Completely agree with your second point, but theres other fun going on here. The advantage of the forum is that no posts will be missed out my anyone, u like in a live chat, where some posts may be missed by players, who come online, long after a post, and within that time there have been sufficient posts to push it down and make it disappear. So I guess we are going to use this forum for at least something.

For me, it is. But I have opted to Show Signatures in Forum Reading Options. So I see very small grey print. If people don't have this switched on, it won't show. You can also choose to show your signature in Forum Posting Options, in which case it shows up in the larger sized black print. Chumleyboo, level 78

Where do I find 'forum reading and posting options'. I am not seeing in in settings and honestly don't know where else to look. Thanks.

Assuming you use the iPF app, you need to go to More (last option of the menu in the bottom) > Settings > Forum Reading Options.

WARNING : According to all that I have seen, hopping is not a suitable option. There is a time after which you can join a neighborhood after leaving one. For me, it keeps increasing after every hop. They really took that idea from Clash of Clans. Some players keep hopping from one clan to another lol.
