Long live the iPad 1!!!

It's funny - everyone assumes that a newer device is "better".... Then we have all of the light bleed issues, then no jailbreak, etc... As I said a million times before - just because something is newer, it doesn't make it better!!

Sorry, but with all of this drama over the iPad 2, I for one am damn glad that I didn't "upgrade"!

So your saying ipad1 is better than ipad2??? I really must ask what you smoking. Only reason ipad 1 is better is cuz u can jailbreak it right now. If any other person can give another reason i am interested to hear it..... Amd lets not talk about light bleeding cuz i have looked at 7-8 ipad 2's and have not seen this problem.

Wasn't trying to start an iPad 1 vs iPad 2 contest - just saying... I bet people aren't so quick to "upgrade" to the next iPad though....

BTW - my iPad 1 has never been slow (or not smooth) so why would I need it to be faster or smoother???

All I know is that I can do whatever I want with my iPad - I know plenty of people who sold their iPad 1 for the iPad 2 and are now regretting that "upgrade"... Seems to me that the iPad 2 owners are wanting what the iPad 1 already has (when they are not worrying about their light bleed issue).

But hey - to each their own - my point is that just because something is newer, does not mean that it is better - just different! I for one am glad that I resisted the "got to have the newest thing" trend!

I just keeping seeing all of this drama over the jailbreak and I'm glad that I didn't "upgrade".

Sorry for the immature post to begin with - I'll stop now (that was very unlike me)!

Again i must ask why these people "regret upgrading to ipad2", if there is any other reason besides the jailbreak plz let me know, because all i can see is how much better the ipad 2 is.

Sorry buddy, but I have both iPads and there's nooooo way the iPad1 is better. Even with a Jailbreak. I still go to my iPad1 but only when I just wanna see what's in Cydia. The whole entire rest of the time, I'm on my iPad2.

I think its ridiculous that they are speaking in riddles though - either say something meaningful about the jailbreak or say nothing at all - all they have to say is that there currently is no ipad 2 jailbreak and they don't know when there will be. The end. Why play these silly Games??

Look, "better" is a relative term - what's better for me may not be better for you. To me and the way I use my iPad, the iPad 1 is better for me.

But regardless, I woke up reading all of the drama and made a very immature post which I also already apologized for. Move on. Of the 274 posts, that was the first one that was out of line. Again, I'm sorry. I should have never done that. Lets move on...
