Your poor dogs and I can just imagine their innocent looking faces. 'What sausages?'
Dogs will be dogs!
And the same applies to husbands too!

He says thanks. I rescued him when he was trying to run across a 4 lane highway in Hamilton during rush hour. The owners of his mother purposely put the mother in a house on the other side of the road. Three of his siblings had already been killed (apparently) trying to get across. I found the owners and they were fined $250 for unnecessary cruelty, not enough, but that's all I could do, except for some mysterious double flat tires.

skimonkey said:Oh my gosh, how cruel can anyone be to do that to any living creature. Shame on them and good that they were caught and fined the penalty of cruelty! You're right that it is not enough...and wonder how those tires became to be? Hmmm.... :O

leelai said:Ooh.......that fine just isn't enough for what they've inflicted on those poor kittens. Just makes me so angry hearing things like this....I'm glad you found them though!
Shame about those tires.
Roy Rob said:Sorry to make you angry....yeah the tires were quite strange weren't they. It happened more than once too, always in the sidewall so they can't repaired........a mystery indeed. The mother cat was removed from them and they were ordered not to own any pet for one year....BS!
Webster has turned out to be the nicest cat that I have ever become acquainted with. Not a mean bone in his body. You can do anything to him, placid as all get out, but just once Patches must have really ticked him off. They were just one, multicolored, hissing, spitting, spinning ball of fur. There was chunks of white fur all over the place and more settling out of the air. When I got them apart, Webster just sat looking up at me with a chunk of white fur still in his mouth with a 'what?' look on his face. Patches, even as the senior cat now has I bit more respect.
