I'd love to go in a balloon sometime...
Never been through a maze either.

Then you should, here they're very early in the morning at the crack of dawn and you even get to set the balloon up.

Had a champagne brekki after it, such a lovely way to start the day!

There's a place here that does corn mazes each year as corn grows very quickly and they change the pattern too.

My hubby saw this early one morning but kept quiet about it as he didn't think anyone would believe him but then I saw it too!

Love peacocks, wish we had some in our backyard, Leeai!!

Is this rare for peacocks to come around your place?

Very rare, they are not native here and I've only ever seen them in zoos....I'm thinking this one may have been a pet who has taken off.

We did try to catch him but he can fly pretty well for such a big bird.

We have Lyrebirds here natively and we actually spotted some last week out in the country...

they are known for their extraordinary ability to mimic anything

I wouldn't think so, peacocks are native to Asia and Lyrebirds are only found here.

How pretty is this

I've seen Peacocks living wild on Vancouver island in the late 1970's.

That must have been very nice, they are such a lovely bird....I wonder if they would still be there.

They almost certainly were escapees from captivity, so I doubt that they're still there unless they can handle winters that hover slightly above and below the freezing point.
