Wow, Gabe...that's far from the slugs you've been suffering from. Love the colorful Balloon...never went on one, but will someday!!

They have a balloon festival nearby at Leeds Castle, I used to live within walking distance of the place and the festival was great with balloon after balloon passing by!

We saw a group go off on our way up north one morning. It was dazzling to see all the balloons and their colors in the air!!

Yesterday-saw a hand glider cruising over the lake. Didn't get my camera fast enough to take a pic, but it was very cool!

I wanted to start this thread to share the wonderful things I see in my backyard. Just this morning, I saw a deer and it's fawn walking across our backyard. I tried taking a picture, but they nestled behind our pine tree to nap. The fawn still was so young with its white spots. So cute!!

I really love where we live. Hope to take some pics of some of the other animals that cruise thru our backyard soon!!

Gabe--I have never seen such elaborate balloons before!! Loved the Mickey mouse, Garfield and also sonic hedge hog!!

The picture of the castle and the balloons are breath taking!! You are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful area!

We went to a Christmas party in the Fairfax Hall, it was amazing, the trees either side of the drive up to the castle were full of fairy lights then we had a guided tour of the castle with a mulled wine reception (Ivy, you'd love the furnishings in the rooms in the castle) and the meal and dancing were magical......might just go for a night in the Maidens Tower next time!
