What I see in my backyard...

There is a family in the next block from me that doesn't let a little thing like snow in the garden stop them. They make snow sculptures in their snow covered garden.

How wonderful is that!

Would love to see some photos Sci!

Hope they do it this year. :)

A not too good photo of my black squirrel and the snow.

I bought some molds from Lee Valley Tools a few years ago. You fill them with water, colored if you like, and turn them out 24 hours later. The result is a star shaped hollow block of ice with a hole in the bottom for feeding lights through. I had a couple dozen of them going at one point.

Posts some pics of that, Kevin! I'd like to see that if you do it this year!

That black squirrel looks like it is trying to huddle to get warm with all that snow coming down, Czevski !

I'll do that once it gets good and cold. Should have quite a few on the go by Christmas.

How's the feeder relocation working now; squirrel free? I noted your pictures under the weather thread :)

Richard, your backyard looks absolutely beautiful. I really love the plant stands that line your deck and your plants are still looking full and in bloom! Beautiful! :)

Thanks Skimonkey. We are lucky that the plants are lasting. We do like the iron stands and are often on the look out for them. We also love the huge clay pots, making sure that we buy frost proof ones.

Your garden is beautiful Richard and I often admire it!

You do a wonderful job of keeping it so too.....I love your lawns too, so wish mine were like that!

Would love to be young enough to play in that cubby house. ;)
