Sorry, no. The item is black painted brass with metal filled engraving. The photo is about four times life size.

It certainly is.

It's pretty quiet here. Another clue is that this item was struck to celebrate the centenary of a first in communications.

EPS posted just in front of my challenge. (It was a photo finish :) ) I never realised until I was PM'd. So, I hold my challenge back until I get in first with a correct answer to a running challenge.

My guess re the current challenge is a winding handle for a clock, such as a grandfather clock.
