For those that have up updated has the issue with visiting neighbours been fixed yet, yes, joke I know, as I'm one of them
They said it will be fixed in this update, ha ha

Has anyone noticed that there is a place for entering a special code in the events section of the GI menu? Who knows what its utility is?

Never noticed that until you pointed it out, but when I go there, it shows 5 greenies and the button is grayed out and says completed. Apparrently I have already participated in whatever event they reference.

Maybe it's another way for GI to let people get greenies for promotions - videos and things like that? Lord knows they aren't consistent on those being offered the same way/time to all players. Doing it this way would let them see results for how well codes reach players and track generated interest in any promotion like that.

These stupid people at GI never cease to amaze me. They have asked for a screenshot of my world map to show them my achieved flights to Goa last week. Since the update, if I try to look at last week's screen, it just shows a blank. Hence, I have no evidence and they will undoubtedly once again wriggle out of giving me my deserved reward. I'll probably be caused of being a cheat whilst they are in contact with me. Does anyone have a screenshot of last week's world map which shows my first place to Goa? I guess this might be possible if someone hasn't yet updated. I would be very pleased to be able to continue this battle with GI. Cheers, Nutty

The lovely Soppy...sorry that's Sophie from GI has just written to me to advise that upon checking my complaint, they have discovered that I didn't get a gift for coming first on the world map last week, because my social activities have been blocked due to me cheating (changing the time on my device).
It certainly seems that every time they have a complaint that they can't fix then it's the player who is a cheat.
They have been very generous "because it's my first transgression" and they have sent me a code to unlock my game "but I must set the time right first".

Apart from my disgust at their false allegations, the flaws in their suggestions are:
1)The date and time on my iPad are already right and they have not been changed,
and, more to the point,
2)I have no current restrictions that I know of in my game. I can visit neighbours, I can send gifts, and I am receiving gifts. I can participate in rocket launches etc.

I haven't told then these facts in my strongly worded reply, because they are probably vindictive enough to retrospectively put blocks on my game, just to prove that they can.

I think that it's fair to say, that if I hadn't played this game so long and expended so much effort and time, and money, I would now tell the lovely Sophie and GI to shove the game where the sun don't shine.

What an utterly awful shower of incompetent twerps they are.

They said exactly same to me. Code didnt work so they then said i had altered game to gain unfair advantage so game was blocked. They said i had to start again but they would transfer any purchases to my new game if i could provide receipts. I told them it had taken me 2 years to get where i had not purchases and the response was, new game was only way forward. Told them i was not starting again and would rather delete game and never play again. Just kept getting repeat emails saying same thing which i gave up responding to. They have now closed the ticket.

I upgraded even though I knew I shouldn't have but figured I could use a challenge. My population is 1306/860. I haven't deleted anything yet as I don't need room to add anything either at this point. Does anyone know if the "trophy" for completing the quest counts population?

Yes, I can now visit Red Dog, Jal Pilot, LtCol Rehab (username), Sian and David and I can't remember for sure, but I think I couldn't visit Captin Boyington and now I can.

Still can't visit Fanny Fargo or Crewman. Are they still playing?

anything you put in is going to be an invalid code, unless you get it from GI for "an event."

i'm saying that when i went to the event tab, it shows 5 green and the button below the code area says "completed" and that button is grayed out and untappable.

The videos were an example of how GI COULD use this code area (we give them WAY too much credit).

3) If someone is "at the five line max," then they have not exceeded the five line max.
4) Are you concerned that the informed members who have been using this forum for over a year (90+% of us) are going to inch their signatures up a notch, thus exceeding the signature line max?
