I have successfully retrieved my game from the restore option that popped up. I restored right back to yesterday so I didn't lose anything. Good luck to all.
 
Hi, have you scrolled across on the restore box. The first few on mine were for level one, then I had options to load my game from 1970(?). Then I have options to load my proper game. I have loaded my level 41 game, and all seems to be well so far..........

I have lost a few hours, so ill have to do those things again, but I'm quite please about getting fifty free credits, as I never pay to play, and it takes me ages to accumulate credits.

So their "restore" feature is pretty much worthless, eh?! Typical GI! My only hope is that somewhere on their servers, they have game progress data saved and that in due course they will be able to restore that. Someone in that thread also talked about restoring the iPad and that seems to have fixed the problem. But I am afraid to do that in fear of losing my game data that might still be on the device permanently. I think the best course of action for now is to just sit tight and wait for a confirmed solution before I start messing with stuff. I am going to find some creative ways to spend my winter evenings now with no game to play. It is amazing how much spare time I had yesterday by not playing the game :)

The first time the restore option popped up I scrolled all the way thru and it was all for level 1. I closed out of the game and restarted my iPad. When I opened the game back up the restore window popped up again and my correct restore options were there. So I got my game back minus a few days of work!
 
Good to hear that the restore is actually working for some. For those of you that it has worked for, have you tried to 'kick the tires' and try shutting down, killing the app, rebooting your device etc...? I heard from some people that it restored their game but then when they restarted the app, it set them back to Level 1. I hate that I didn't bring my pad with me to work. I almost want to take a half-day and go back home to test this out! LOL! Yeah, call me an addict :)

I tried rebooting the game and also turning my iPad off and back on but no restore option came up for me. I guess I will have to wait and hope that tech support gets the issue fixed.

That's great to hear!! I can't wait to get home this evening to test it out on mine! Hope the recovered game lasts though and doesn't glitch out again!

Same with me, no restore option popped up. I'm setting my game aside and will check it later: hopefully the issue will get resolved.

It says "in the nearest future all players will receive 50 credits". Give it some time.

I restored my game but lost a day or two of my progress, although the savegame was dated Nov 26. I lost the premium building I bought a coupe days ago and --surprise, surprise -- did not get 50 credits or even an apology.

Sorry about your missing building, but than you very much for posting this screen shot! I was curious what this restore screen looked like and now I know when it comes time to restore my game.
 
WTH?? Is that a new game? Deluxe? So that means everything costs twice as much, you have half the time to finish tasks, and the bugs in the game are twice as bad?

This 'deluxe' game is compatible with iPhone and iPod. However the deluxe game is not compatible with the original game so you can't be friends. My daughter was gutted. She desperately wanted the game because I spend so much time on it, which she now has but the fact that we can't be friends made her lose interest almost immediately. Never mind Gi, another lost customer!

This happened with the Tribez after an update in August. It took GI a week to sort out.

Before I left for work this morning, my bb was ok, - dreading looking at it now
 
I think Gi has bitten off more than it can chew with all these updates and new games. Bored of waiting for the thanksgiving event and the offer through the red Gi button isn't working. So what have they been doing?

Just received this Black Friday email from GI. They have the nerve to send this out with all the stuff happening to BB?! Here ... our games are full of glitches but here's a coupon to spend some more money on them! SMH!
