I bought a huge head of cabbage today at the vegetable market for .99¢. I found this recipe at Food 52 I've been wanting to make for a very long time.
I topped it with a crispy fried egg. The flavors were excellent.

That's a lot of cabbage for a little cabbage. :)

That was just a third of the cabbage, I used 1.5 pounds cabbage, but it cooks down,you caramelize it and the onion. I had a little left over but I finished that off too it was so good.
