What's new

Food anyone?

There I was shopping today and I picked up a packet of my favourite biscuits, Lotus Biscuits when lo and behold, what should I discover but this.....

Yes, it's a jar of those very same caramelised biscuits but in a spread form.......woo and hoo! It's like a jar full of everything that is good in the world!

And if you look closely you'll see that I have already been dipping a spoon into that pot, it is delicious! The next logical step will be the intravenous lotus biscuit......I can't wait!

The Archangel

How about spreading the lotus spread on the lotus biscuits for a double hit.;)

I like your thinking! Maybe the interim step will be some kind of lotus patch!

Gabriel, does the spread taste like regular caramel, or some variety thereof? What's the "crunchy" part?

Hmm, where to start, well the biscuits themselves are caramelised, which I believe is chef speak for burnt! So, the biscuits have that slightly overlooked taste that miraculously makes them a sweet crunchy eat. The crunchy part of the spread is the lotus biscuit, so not only does the spread itself taste exactly like the biscuits it also appears to have the biscuits crunched up into it........so it's kind of like crunchy peanut butter but tasting of biscuits instead.

Does that make any sense?
