Hay Day - Product Requests & Sales

Just curious, I just started playing HD a few days ago when a woman I was sitting next to on a flight from SLC recommended it. She was playing candy crush at the time, and we chatted about the addiction that develops for these games over time. Anyway, it's becoming quickly apparent that HD is yet another one of those games where you could easily drop $100 in a matter of hours if you're not careful. I think I've spent ~$30 playing CC, and as much as I like HD, I don't want to fall into that trap again. With that said, I'm curious how much you've spent playing HD? When I visit other farms I'm amazed at the scale and detail and can't help but think some folks have spent a small fortune. So, if I were to drop $50-$100 on HD, would that be in-line with most spending habits? Again, just trying to get gain a sense of whats typical for this game. Sorry for the long post. :)

I think I spent maybe $10 very early on in the game, when the packages were on sale. I soon discovered that if you are patient enough, and with the help of people on this forum, and you're neighbourhoods (when you level up enough to be a part of one), that you done have to spend any money on this game. Save your money and just have a little patience and you too can have all the things you see on other people's farm. I know lots of people on here haven't spent a dime on the game, yet have amazing farms :) GC ID: tanaco73 HD: level 53

I have yet to spend any money. Like tannaco said, just patience and using the forum. The early levels go quickly. Besides asking for material help, the forum is also a great place for playing advice in general. I.e. Growing wheat, corn n carrots will get you mats (thou I am unsure if this starts right away or if you have to be a few levels in).

I've honestly only spent 1 dollar on a few diamonds on a special .

Other than that I would not spent money on this. It's all about patients and selling and buying low. And selling high...you will get to a point where your at a lev you just make money...
