Hay Day - Product Requests & Sales

Just curious, I just started playing HD a few days ago when a woman I was sitting next to on a flight from SLC recommended it. She was playing candy crush at the time, and we chatted about the addiction that develops for these games over time. Anyway, it's becoming quickly apparent that HD is yet another one of those games where you could easily drop $100 in a matter of hours if you're not careful. I think I've spent ~$30 playing CC, and as much as I like HD, I don't want to fall into that trap again. With that said, I'm curious how much you've spent playing HD? When I visit other farms I'm amazed at the scale and detail and can't help but think some folks have spent a small fortune. So, if I were to drop $50-$100 on HD, would that be in-line with most spending habits? Again, just trying to get gain a sense of whats typical for this game. Sorry for the long post. :)

Oh Johnny, honestly you should never have to spend money. You just keep working at it. It takes time in the early stages to get the coins you will need to buy the machines, but there are fun ways to earn more coins so you just have to find those you like. I thought it actually moved pretty fast. Try not to buy any decorations or extras until you have a good base of machines. And don't use Tom....you don't really need him! And if you didn't already know, you can delete truck orders you don't want to fill and a new order will pop up after a short wait. Don't worry about the challenges either....I have only completed a few and I've still done Ok in the game...

Always be yourself, but if you can't be yourself, then be a turtle! GC: pristoph Level 53

I'm new to this forum but I've been playing Hay Day for about nine months. I don't spend real money. It's totally doable.;-)

How do I get started with trading? I need some apple jelly.

You just did. People will tend to offer what they have to trade with in return. Barn, silo and land expansion materials are always needed.

I would also add your GC name n HayDay level; see mine as an example. How you do it depends on the product you are using. (As you will notice I have two on mine cuz on is on the iPad and the other on the laptop.

You need x number of posts before you can private message. I think its 6 or 10. Send me a GC friend request n I can trade you the apple jam.
