Argh!! I keep getting stuck on stuff in Year 3!!!! (looks like year 3 is not my year!).

I am in Honeydukes and i have gotten rid of the guy on the ladder and the witch near the front door, but for the life of me, i cant figure out how ta get rid of that girl!!!! Ive zapped her with all i got. She's wearing me out. Anyone know?

Thanks! Hope there will be a walkthru out soon. So hard to find any help on this ipad/iphone version of this game.

Could you tell me how you got through the secret passageway? Please!!!

Year 2 - Slytherin Common Room

How do you get past Filch - he keeps sending me (Crab & Goyle) back to the dorm.

Don't push the brick, pull on it, and hide it in the other room, you'll free the bloody baron and the fire crab, Filch will get annoyed and run away!)))

Getting past Buckbeak

how do u get past buckbeak in yr 3?

Just feed him when prompted then stun the two skewts.

This one is killing me!

Although it was made for the Nintendo DS version of the game, I've found this walkthrough really helpful:

However, it still can't get me past the two prefects in the dark in year 3. Any advice? I don't think there's a trick to it, but I just haven't made it through :b

That's a difficult one, prefect no 1, u have to wait until is away from you, prefect 2 u follow around and then sneak off after the third corner or so to the carpet and then the statues. Find the head, touch everything, do everything and then go back to the entrance but the the other way.

I have been working this one for a while. It's making me crazy! Any additional tips?

Over on the right side of the hall, blow up everything possible. Then you should be able to create a ladder up to the first pedestal. Climb it and take a step on it. It will push a button and drop a rope from the ledge on the other side of the room to climb.

I've gone thru the tunnel but can't get further. I found the red and green tiles but can't do anything with them. Help out there?

Please tell me where to find the red and green bricks?! I've been stuck on this for 2 weeks!!

They are located in the first room you can go into when you enter this level. They are on a wall and highlighted in "blue".

Pursuing Peter Pettigrew.....I can't get thru the part with lumos and the prefects! They always get me...any hints?

HoneyDukes: just tap the girl and ask to pass, she'll step aside.
Secret Passage: there are three weights you need to use descendo charm - 2 are in secret rooms on the left side 1 on the right. 2 of them need to use reparo first. When that is complete, a door will lift.
Red & Blue bricks are found during Free Play when you have other characters with special skills.

Ok since you've made it so much further than I have, could you give a quick explain? I see so many places I can't get to. Are the rounds intended to be played over and over? Should I be able to get say all 5 hats before moving on? I hate when there are no instructions.

The levels are meant to be played twice. Firstly in story mode with the basic characters. Secondly in Free Play mode where you can use any character you have bought. This is usually physically stronger characters such as Hagrid, or Dark Magic wizards such as Snape.

It's appears to be a feature of all Lego games, well the ones I've played so far.

Apologies if this has been addressed already! Year two, Dueling Club - my daughter is driving me nuts because she can't seem to defeat Malfoy. She's gotten through about half his hearts but can't advance any further. Tips?

Year 4 the first task

I am on the rooftops and can't find the 3 potion ingredients to get past the fire. I can only find two. Can anyone tell me how to find it? Thanks.

Dueling club: Run circles around Malfoy, his fireballs will hit / defeat him.

To find the third ingredient, go to the right side of the tower. There is a part of the wall (with lighter color brick) that you can break. Also break the wall of the tower across to reveal the third ingredient.

Twice now my game has just stopped at the end of year two in exactly the same spot. Any patches or fixes out there?

Last two characters?

Forgive me if this had been answered already.

I just finished the game--found everything,bought everything. I started a free play level and noticed that there are two blank spots in the available characters. I went back to the store to see if I missed buying them, but there are no other characters to buy.

Does anyone know who the last two characters are and how I can get them? Thanks!
