Frustrating, but obviously it wasn't all ready to go like everyone thought a week ago. Was sort of hoping it was going to drop during CES in the midst of all the other crazy tech news, now I feel like it could be a big waiting game again. It's just a shame that it's like this to get the usage you want out of iDevices. Bums me out as a tech user.

Others who are on 4.3.3 JB can easily wait till apple does something. There is no reason for you to upgrade to 5.0.1 just now, as when 5.0.2 (or 5.1) is released you should still have a 24 hour window till apple stops signing 5.0.1 ..

I'm hoping the JB for iPad2 is released before Apple updates to a newer iOS!

I'm running the gauntlet and waiting on the 433 JB for either new JB or 51/502. I'm checking this forum at least 6-8 hourly - I hope f4780y updates it at superhuman speed once change in situation!

Rushh I agree with you - but as I always say: We don't live in shouldaland. ;)

Friends.... Do you think they can make it for iPad2 5.0.1? Is there still any hope to jailbreak? If not at all, I will sell my iPad 2 3G 5.0.1 without 4.3.3 shsh blobs, before the price going to very cheap.... :(

I mean.. If there is no hope, I think I'm gonna sell my current iPad 2, & buy another iPad 2 which is still on 4.3.3.....

Considering about a week ago pod2g tweeted the JB was about a week out it made it sound as though they had found a way to JB the iPad 2 and were working out all the bugs and doing some recoding. I think it is on it's way it's just a matter of time as they want to make sure everything is working properly before it is released. Pod2g also tweeted yesderday that he wasn't going to release his work to developers as he wants to keep the exploit secret until it's released which seems to be an even clearer indication that they have done it. Just my thoughts though.

So I should wait for another month I guess...

Don't sell it lol
They gotta produce JB for it soon, be patient darling :p

I would wait; I hope it doesn't take another month though. Pod2g released the JB for the A4 devices, he is very reliable and has never lied to folks saying he's got a JB when he didn't. He has more or less created an 'All Star' team of dev's who are working on this project together so that is rather exciting in itself. They are being secretive about it because they don't want it getting leaked giving Apple the opportunity to patch it and push out a new iOS update before the JB is officially released. Remember, this is a software exploit so once it's patched the exploit is gone and they will have to try and find another weakness somewhere else. The same was true with the 4.3.3 JB. We just need to be patient but it will definitely be worth it in the end.

Fingers crossed for sure, I love my 4.3.3 JB but I do hope for 2 things if and when a new JB comes, better battery life and the ability to update apps via the normal app store, seem to have a lot of issues with these 2 facets as I have been JBroken since the 4.3.3 exploit came out!!!
